TestIT's Quality Management System
TestIT’s Quality Management System (QMS) has been continually developed over a number of years. The system has proven itself to give a robust, economic and comprehensive solution to customer’s testing requirements.
In practical terms, continuous development is achieved in two ways:
1. A successive series of Internal Audits
Internal Audits are planned and detailed audit records are kept as required. The audit schedule is designed to cover the whole of the applicable ISO standard.
Furthermore, TestIT takes action to eliminate the cause of non-conformities in order to prevent recurrence. These are in the form of Corrective Actions and Preventative Actions which are appropriate to the effects any non-conformities encountered.
A documented procedure has been established to define requirements for:
Reviewing non-conformities
Determining the causes of non-conformities
Evaluating the need for action to ensure that non-conformities do not recur
Determining and implementing action needed
Records of the results of actions taken and
Reviewing Corrective Action or Preventative Action taken
2. Regular Surveillance Visits carried out by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).
TestIT’s Quality Management System is subject to continuous review and improvement by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), enabling TestIT to provide a consistent quality of service via its own Product Realisation System.
As part of TestIT’s ongoing development of its Quality Management System and business processes, the company has recently committed to a programme to achieve accreditation to the Investor In People (IIP) standard. It is hoped that this commitment will lead to further improving the business and especially help it achieve its aims and objectives. TestIT is also currently working towards achieving accreditation to ISO14001 (Environmental Management Systems).
